Race Description:
Lethanian Elves are the most commonly known of the Elves in Envaris. They are sometimes referred to as Envarian Elves and Wood Elves. They came from the Taeleth Elves that first stepped on Envaris from the ships from the Elven Island of K'irn Cibur and made their homes in hidden in the vast Silvertop Forests, building around a large tree known as, the Tree of Life. The tree-city of the Elves is often called Lhuindain by the Elves, and is known to be tranquil and serene.
The woodland cousins of the Taeleth Elves rely on Mother Nature and its elements more than their gods and goddesses, although they still pray to their gods regularly. Like the Taeleth Elves, the Lethanian are taller than most Humans and also have pointy, elongated ears, but often have fair golden-blond hair. The Lethanian Elves are known to have harmonious voices, as well as their affinity for nature and all things living. Lethanian Elves are also skilled in archery, much more so than the Taeleth Elves, whom are highly skilled with blades.
Naming Guide:
- Elven names are soft sounding and very lyrical, they avoid using hard or harsh sounding names. Their names usually contain more than one syllable and if an elf has a short name is extremely soft sounding. Letter combination's such as "TH", "LH", and "AE" are very common in elven names. Elves do not combine the letters "OU" or use the characters "z", "q", or "x" which simply doesn't fit their way of pronunciation. Elven last names can either be similar to the first name, or made up from nature words such as stars, trees, lakes etc.
