Race Description:

The Taeleth Elves, sometimes referred to by Envarians as 'High Elves', often live in the protected magical spire of K'irn Cibur. They are the eldest of the Elven races and are more known for their literature, musical and spiritual talents. Taeleth Elves are generally taller than most Humans, being on average between six and seven feet tall, yet still graceful and handsome. As most Elves (apart from Vulday Elves) they have elongated pointy ears, and their hair is often fairly light, sometimes with streaks of silver or gray.

These types of Elves are known for praying to their gods and goddesses, which can sometimes be misinterpreted for arrogance rather than just transcendent spirituality. Some of their gods they believe inhabit mortal forms on Ethros and so pray frequently to them. Taeleth Elves are also known for their craftsmanship, and unlike the Vulday Elves, which are known mostly among Dwarves for mining gems and jewels, are not so gluttonous. Enchanted Elven items and artifacts are likely to have been forged by a Taeleth Elf.

Naming Guide:

  • Elven names are soft sounding and very lyrical, they avoid using hard or harsh sounding names. Their names usually contain more than one syllable and if an elf has a short name is extremely soft sounding. Letter combination's such as "TH", "LH", and "AE" are very common in elven names. Elves do not combine the letters "OU" or use the characters "z", "q", or "x" which simply doesn't fit their way of pronunciation. Elven last names can either be similar to the first name, or made up from nature words such as stars, trees, lakes etc.
