Thank you all for playing this game over the years, hope you all enjoyed it while it was online. Sometime in the future we might release the full codebase as open source along with the firebolt client but it is not something we are considering right now.
We want to say thank you to all the immortals of the game that have spent time trying to build this online world and make the game prosper. Unfortunately playerbases for text-based games are not easy to build in 2012 with all the graphical million dollar games around. Things were different back in the 90's for sure.
